Jon takes pride in being as capable, reliable and proficient off-stage as he is as a performer. Whether as a curator, programming manager, orchestral manager/fixer/librarian, video editor or print designer, Jon has the knowledge and intuition required to produce the very best results. Jon is currently Orchestral Manager for the London Contemporary Music Festival, working closely with director Igor Toronyi-Lalic and conductor/composer Jack Sheen towards events in a week-long festival every December. The LCMFO gave its inaugural performance in the 2018 festival to great critical acclaim, performing the works of Chaya Czernowin, Elaine Mitchener and Neil Luck. Since then the orchestra has expanded to perform works by Cassandra Miller, Angharad Davies, Jonathan Burrows/Matteo Fargion, Oliver Leith, Laurence Crane and many more. Previously (2015-2018), Jon was Project Coordinator of the Arch Sinfonia, a London-based young professional chamber orchestra, founded and conducted by Chloé van Soeterstède. In this role Jon worked closely with the conductor to assist in all areas of the orchestra's running, most notably curating and programming cross-art concerts, editing promotional and concert videos, and designing programmes, posters and orchestral brochures for sponsors.

 

During Covid, in June 2020, Jon put together a 90-strong virtual orchestra and choir to perform anthems for both the England and West Indies cricket teams in their recent behind-closed-doors test match series (see PUBLISHING, DESIGN + VIDEO EDITING) and co-manages the Constella Philharmonic Orchestra, an orchestra set up alongside Leo Geyer (see CONDUCTING).​
